The fun of the format isn’t watching people struggle. It’s watching people who should already know better completely struggle on things a five-year-old could answer. So instead of leaning into “school,” we leaned into the moment right before a wrong answer: the second-guessing, the almost-right guess, the scribble in the margin.
The final package plays like the notebook of someone who never quite gets it right. Crossed-out letters, half corrections, and doodles crowding every open space. Bold, stretchy type snaps and wobbles across the frame like a rushed answer, layered collage-style with a set of hand-drawn icons that play into the theme: a die missing half its numbers, a paper airplane, ‘The Thinker’ eternally pondering.
